Playing Music over car stereo without using bluetooth

Is there a way (or app) to play my music stored in my phone over radio frequency through my car stereo. Example being like the old XM Radio unit I had played over the station 87.9. I dont have bluetooth in my car either so that wont work. Thanks in advance!

i am pretty certain our phones do not have an FM transmitter built in. so, no sir.

While the Sprint Hero does not have an FM transmitter built in, you can certainly purchase a 3rd party transmitter that will work. check your local best buy or computer/electronics store.

If your stereo has an auxiliary jack in it you can use the headphone jack from the Hero, and if your stereo has a usb port you can use the usb.
