Help playing music through bluetooth

Lurker
I have an fm transmitter that plugs into the cars cigarette lighter, it works via bluetooth, cable, flash drive, and sd card. The phone works through the cars stereo via the bluetooth transmitter. I've read that both the transmitter and the phone would be able to send music via bluetooth, but when i open pandora or music files on my phone, it only plays on the phone, it wont work via bluetooth. In other words, phone works via bluetooth, but music does not. Is there some setting i'm missing? Thank You

Hi, yes it will work, I have done it. First, make sure enable bluetooth on your Droid, and then make sure your bluetooth device is paired to your phone, then you shouldn't have any problem. You can perform both of these functions by hitting menu > settings > wireless & network > bluetooth. Make your phone discoverable, then pair your bluetooth to your phone and you should be good to go.
