Playing WAV files

My wife and I both have the Droid2 phone. We get our phone voicemails emailed to us as WAV files. Before the latest update, it worked every time. After the last update, it doesn't work anymore. When we try to open the file, it asks what program we want to play it with and gives us the music program as an option. Then it says "sorry the player does not support this type of audio file."

Any suggestions on how to get wav files to play on our phones now?

Thanks.

The only 2 options I am given are "Music" (presumably the google music program you are referring to) and "spotify", an aftermarket program I have. When I select either, I get the message I listed and it will not play.

Follow any of these links, hit install and log in with the gmail accounts associated with the phone. Or search the names I provided in the market on your phone.

I know, for a fact, that the top three play wav files. I have a custom ringtone and they all play it. If they don't, contact your customer service as the voicemail is the problem, not your phone.

The wav file is a simple attachment in an email as it has always been and plays fine on my computers. So the file itself is fine. I just need to get it to play on my phone.
