Root please answer this one question?? its drving me CRAZY!!

i hope someone will answer for me please.. i have rooted my phone, and i did the clockworkmod. i backed up my system, nandroid backup through clockwork, but i NEVER wiped my system and never installed any other roms. it always stayed original. my question is this, if i simply put S back on, and just uninstall visionary and all rooted apps, is my phone back to original, and will a hard reset work if i need to use it? will it put it back to the state it was in when i bought it? since i never wiped the phone, the factory restore should still be in the phone right?

Guide to unrooting your device - xda-developers

Once you've rooted your recovery image is changed. Just follow that guide.

Sorry I saw your post last night on my phone but I was busy setting up dual boot on my laptop. For future reference go to HTC Glacier: myTouch 4G - xda-developers for anymore info regarding rooting. Search there and then here before asking a question as you are probably not the only one who needs a similar question answered.

Honestly though you've done everything well why do you need to unroot?

well it was acting a little buggy, the visual voicemail is giving me a little trouble and tech support was no help, so i want to do a hard reset and restore the phone to the out of bax state, but then i read online that you cant simply unroot and reset the phone, which is what i thought you could do.. so you are saying i will have to download the original rom and flash the phone as well, even though i never wiped my phone in clockworkmod???
