We have 2 of the 128gb Ultra phones. They are heavy, obviously, due to the 5000mah batteries. Conventional vent mounts in a car will not hold them long if roads have any bumps at all.
I have used every battery saving tip I have found. I admit I am a heavy browser but the phone just barely makes it thru my day with any charge remaining. In retrospect my S8+ would just make it to thru lunch.
The cams are fantastic though. That is the reason we upgraded to get rid of the need to carry an SLR. We are using the phones at home to take pictures of our products that we sell instead of using an SLR also.
The phones are very fast using the internet and downloads.

He went with the opinion every other tech YouTuber has of belittling the device because of its price and calling it absurd. I agree that the device is overpriced and not worth the money UNLESS your #1 priority is camera experience and future proofing.
The zoom is AMAZING despite the gimmicky marketing. The 8K videos it shoots (in good light) are brilliant (albeit limited to 24fps). The photos are great, too. The phone is just really damn fun to use and worth the price for my purposes.
Similar to @randyzon I wanted a device I could take with me and feel like I was getting great photos and videos while leaving my DSLR behind. I know it doesn't compare to DSLR quality but that's not the purpose. The whole point is balancing quality with portability and the Ultra does that best (for me).
Unfortunately I'm mostly stuck inside so my opportunities are limited. But one day... ONE DAY... in let's all hope the very near future.

He seems to be more genuine than the many click-bait influencers on the YouTubes
Yea, I really enjoy Linus' content. Plus he has like 6 channels with a combined 20m subscribers for a reason. He does some crazy PC build stuff that will blow your mind with it's awesomeness and ludicrousness.
