Help Please Help:"can not create new contact "?

Can not create a new contact without a valid account

I am having trouble with my android 2. Everytime I try to add a new contact it gives me the above message. My questions are

1. What valid account is it speaking of?
2. Why can't I see my contacts profile pictures any longer ?
3. How can I fix my phone so that I can again add contacts?

I've never heard of an "Android 2" phone. but it sounds like you dont have a gmail account on your phone. Go to the gmail app, and sign in to your gmail account, then you should be able to.

Are you talking about Facebook profile pics? If so, then you need to sign into facebook.

If you've changed your GMAIL, FACEBOOK, or ANY OTHER passwords of accounts you've linked using the MOTO BLUR (assuming Android 2 means Droid 2) screen on your phone, you'll have to reconnect that account (re-sign in) before you can edit contacts. GMAIL would be the most likely culprit, followed by Facebook.
