Please Help! Gmail Email Nightmare!

Hi Guys,

I'm desperate for any help. I've been trying for a half hour to figure this out and I can't. Just factory restored my Verizon Droid 4. On initial setup and config I indicated that I had a Gmail account and entered my email address and password. No problem. I then also added my corporate email. No problem. Now I am getting emails to my Gmail account and it seems the only way I can get to them is when they display in the notifaction bar at the top of the screen. If I go into the "Email" app, the only account I see is the corporate account. But if I manually add my Gmail account in the "Email" app, all of my Gmail emails come thru twice. How do you get to your Gmail inbox??

Have you tried using the preinstalled "Gmail" application?

When I click on that, it goes into a "Settings" configuration. I see my Gmail email listed under "Account Settings". There is also "General Preferences" and "Add Account". There appears (none that I can find) to be no way to see your Gmail inbox. Sorry if I'm missing it...

Is there a way to have both my corporate email an Gmail under the "Email" app and select between which acount I want to view? I believe that's how it was originally set-up, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to do it again.

Clear data from the mail application > settings > storage use or downloads > mail app. You should now be able to add your accounts.

I wish I could screen shot this to try and show what I'm after. I now have two icons "Gmail" which opens my Gmail inbox, and "Email" which opens my corporate email. Here is what I want:

I would like a single icon, "Email", which contains both inboxes. I had this initially but can't figure out how to get it back that way after restore. Before, when you clicked on "Email" app, it would open whateve rinbox was set as your default inbox. There would be a symbol in upper left corner that you could click and then select any other email account to show that inbox.

Currently, this is showing my corporate email. When I click on the logo in upper left corner, I have the option of adding a new account and can add my Google email account, but then all Google emails come in twice.

Anyone know what I'm trying to say? Sorry it's so cryptic...
