please help htc desire camera keeps going of

hi everyone i got a htc desire i had it for about 9 mths now all was gd untill a few weeks a go my camera flash keeps going off and its makeing the phone go dead all the time i have tryed turning phone off didt work please help anyone

Backup your contacts and the contents of your sd card to your pc.

Then do a factory reset and see if that solves the issue.
