Please help. I have trust issue!

My partner cheated on me and decided to give him another chance... obviously trust has to rebuild. He sent me a photo of this item that his son wanted for Christmas. But WHAT THE HELL is those heart notifications. Please can someone share some light on what this could be ? I have asked and he told me he didn't know. When he clicked on it, it went away

I'm afraid it's impossible to say, because there are many different apps of different types that use heart icons for notifications. Yes, it could be a dating app, but it could also be a fitness app, some social media app, and I've also seen ordinary SMS apps, various TV show-related apps, and other more obscure things use heart icons. And in this case we don't even have a picture of the icon to go on (occasionally there is something distinctive enough about it that it can be identified, though most of the time it cannot).

So I'm afraid that without more information all I can say is that you have to use your judgement of him. Is it plausible that he might not know what a notification on his phone is? My wife's not interested in phones, so if she told me she didn't know what a notification was I'd believe her, but if I told her I didn't know what a notification on my phone was she'd rightly find that completely implausible. How likely do you find his story that he doesn't know?

the easiest way for posting pics is down at the very bottom of where you type in your reply, you will see the option "upload a file" select that and then select the screenshot photo. there are other ways to post pics, but this is the easiest.

edit:
plus there are millions of apps with notification icons. and probably the same amount that uses a heart as its icon. so the likelihood that we might recognize it is pretty low. we get this question here on a daily basis and most of these goes unanswered.

the easiest way is to be open with your relationship and just ask........well maybe not that easy...lol.....rather then go behind his back to find out about what;s on his phone.

since he cheated on you, you have every right to ask him what the notifications are. don't be shy about it. keep everything out in the open. make him build the trust that you deserve.

and remember he cheated on you!!!! he has to earn that trust back....so i would say that you do not have trust issues because you have the right not to trust him.

Besides that makes you the right to look throughout his photos, men are such scum bags, there are a few really nice people out there in the world.
