I have searched several hundred posts and can't find my answers, and I am probably the only one here that can not figure out how to utilize the phone storage on Incredible. Everything just automatically goes to sd card and sd card is getting full. There has to be a way to utilize that extra phone storage on Incredible, but after having mine since launch day, I have finally given up. Please don't yell at me if this is an old issue because I have searched and can't see the answer.

Also, when I set an mp3 ringtone as default, it only works for the next phone call, and then reverts to phone default choice. I feel SOOOO stupid.

not sure what you mean by "everything",
market apps will go to phone storage
i have 66 apps takes up 116MB of internal storage.
Even if you are using the "small" 2GB card should have plenty of storage on it, what is filling it up?
After you find out you can use a file manager such as
astro or es file explorer to move , delete ,etc. your files from SD to phone

menu>settings>sound & display>phone ringtone (select your ringtone) and tap "OK"

I have not played with mp3 as rintone on inc yet, but on previous omnia they needed to be trimmed to less than 30 seconds

Thank you Waynester for your responses. By everything on my card, I was referring to downloaded pics/wallpapers/music, and those have all been automatically put on my sd card. Isn't there any way to put some of those downloads into that 8 (6.60) gigs of internal memory that the Incredible has built in? I can't see any way to use that memory. I used to have an Omnia and it also had 8 gigs memory built in that I could download stuff to, but can't figure out how to use it in the Incredible. My Inc says it has 6.60 gigs of internal phone storage of which 6.47 gigs are still available for use, but if I can't figure out how to use it, it is useless to me. By the way, that number stays constant and never has changed so I know that nothing is downloading there.
How did you figure out that your 66 apps are taking 116 megs of internal storage? I have no way of putting mine in internal storage. They automatically download to phone memory. I wish I understood what I am doing wrong. Sorry for these questions, and I understand if you don't have time to answer them.:(
Also, I do have Astro file but do not know how to, or even if I can move files to internal storage.
Thanks again.

Through trial and error, I just figured out that my camera shots are downloading to internal storage, so that's something at least. :-)
