Help Please Help: Live wallpaper not working after froyo update

Can anybody help me to understand why live wallpaper is not working on my Galaxy 3 after Froyo update - when I install it, the installation completes successfully and then it says something like this device is not supported. I know it should work in Froyo - is there any hardware/software problem and is there any way I can use them.

Live wallpaper is not working.........strange, then what else new features comes with Froyo, i guess not much rigght?
 
Live wallpapers are disabled on the apollo... you can enable it by rooting your device.

Froyo brings alot of new features.
- flash support
- app to SD
- usb tethering
- better performance
- better web browsing
- ...
 
Will froyo on the apollo really bring flash support ? , i thought that the low cpu spec on the apollo meant that flash wouldn't work even if you had v2.2 running...

As to live wallpapers - very nice to have the option but it must be a bit of a resource / battery hog..
 
Well I hope it will bring flash... still wating to have the update.

And indeed. Live wallpapers only drain your battery faster. As it isn't draining fast enough
 
The apollo is a great entry level smart phone I've had mine about 2 months (only 79.99 in the uk at the mo ) it's my first smart phone and for the money it''s an exellent (if limited) piece of kit but i'm already starting to get the hots for somrthing more powerful.... now the new galaxy s2 mmmm ... time to start saving...
