Newbie
hi everyone. my admire is rooted and i deleted the main launcher and installed prolauncher, but tonight i did a factory reset thinking that it will add all the programs back, but everytime i turn it on, i get a black scree, it tells me to force close the program. i can see the scrolling unlock switch. is there anything i can do?btw my brother has an admire as well, maybe we can do smth.
thanks in advance

By Factory reset ,The data and cache are formatted .When you get Root privileges you modify /system .
You have two options :
A)Flash stock ROM to restore the factory default

B.)First get a launcher installed on the phone .
Download Launcher Pro apk from their website and keep it in C:\
LauncherPro
you need to have android sdk installed
Perform C:\Android\platform-tools>adb install C:\LauncherPro.apk (or whatever is the name)
Now you have a Launcher pro working so you can navigate .
Get the launcher from your brother's phone and paste it in you /system with adb push/pull or FileXpert /ES File explorer with root privileges .(which means you have to root the phone )

C:\Users\3ndri>C:\launcherpro.apk

C:\Users\3ndri>

No not just adb .The whole command as a one.
Copy the LauncherPro.apk to C drive .Rename it 1.apk (Easier to remember)
Path of launcher is now ,C:\1.apk

C:\Android\platform-tools>adb install C:\1.apk

That will give you a launcher to navigate at least :)

Like below

C:\Users\3ndri>C:\android-sdk-windows\platform-tools\adb install C:\1.apk

well im sorry, maybe im doing something wrong here but check it yourself! and thanks again for your time.i really appreciate u trying to help me
:( how should my phone be?in what mode connected via usb? (ex:in usb mode, or system recovery)
