HI all, So I rooted my android galaxy s2 for boost mobile it has 4.1.2 on it with gc01

how can i install custom roms and what else would I need
I have full root access. please forward me to easy tutorial. thanks a lot.

im looking everywhere cant seem to find the right easy guide.
 
Recoveries will come with whatever rom you install. If you install cm10.1 you will get clockworkmod recovery. Other ROMs will use agate's. I installed TWRP after installing cm10.1.
 
flash this kernal with odin or mobile odin you will now have a working custom recovery. now make a nandroid backup. now you can find the rom of your choice and follow the instructions of that rom. if you flash a aosp rom you will need to flash a ics modem and fix your mms settings. for touchwiz you'll need your msl to fix mms with the sprint roms. enjoy welcome to the forums. hope you enjoy the stay

Or if you don't feel like going through the hassle of getting your msl, you can just install the app APN Pro, convert to system app, and then edit your APNs no msl needed
