please help me find a tablet

[ ] Long ago I bought a nook tablet at the first price drop and successfully rooted it. it was stolen in a matter of weeks. i pretty much ignored tablets from that point to about 9 montha ago. in the past months i have become obsessed with rooting another device so i can explore the capabilities of superuser. I have failed to root every device in this time. alcatel pixi glotz, kindle fire hd 8 gen 6, google pixel phone (verizon), my moms ipad 2 (updated ios), the pattern is none of these are rootable. I have one last shot before i go insane. i have $200 Saved for one lwst device. do any of yall know of a tablet that meets all or most of these Specs? 1. Rootable 2. minimum 16 gb internal with slot for micro sd expanded storage 3. minimum 2gb RAM 4. minimum 1.3 ghz cpu 5. Android 4.4 (or any rootable OS) the goal is to dual boot with windows 8.1 or 10. 6. ideally cost less than $175, $150 in a perfect world..does such a thing exist?

I'm sure there's quite a few Intel tablets that dual-boot Win 10 or Android as stock. I think most of them are Chinese though. Most will be Android 5.x or 6.x versions though, not 4.4. Frankly I don't think anyone makes a 4.4 or older version Android device now. As for rooting them, no idea, maybe some information on Chinese tech forums about this. And if you want Win 8.x or 10 on it, that means it's got to be an Intel CPU device.

BTW for the iPad, I believe the term is jailbreak. But could be difficult, risky or even impossible on recent iOS versions, like it is with Android on many devices, especially Marshmallow or Nougat.

IMO when tablets get to about 12 inches or bigger, they become rather unwieldy for handheld use. The size of a laptop, but without the benefits and features of a laptop. :)

The big tablets are great for some multimedia applications, though. It's great for music apps, especially the live percussion, audio mixing and music notation apps. Wish I had the $ for a 12 inch model, but am looking for at least a 10 inch to read music notation from. Will also consider a Bluetooth foot pedal for page turning later on, with the tablet on a music stand.
