Thanks everybody.
Please help me select the best navigation application. I have been using Google maps and Sygic. But I just want to know if there is anything better out there. I think Sygic graphics are better but the maps are old.

Thanks all for your replies. How you compare Waze with Sygic? Is Waze more accurate with good graphics? Personally I like the graphics of Sygic. But I haven't used Waze at all.

Try Waze and you'll end your search.
Waze is that good.

I am having Waze but it also need Internet connection. I need something which only work on gps. I am ready to buy also. The maps of Sygic are very old although they claim it to be new. They are showing the same old roads of 10 years back. I need something which is good in graphics and upto date maps. I will be using it in middle east and Asia.

Hi,

You should have a look at Navigate 6 by Route 66. The app and maps are free to download and you pay for a licence to enable the navigation function, but you get a months free trial. There is an extensive range of up to date maps which you can check and download once you have installed the app.

I have used it extensively in UK, USA and Spain. I find the graphics are good, navigation is smooth and reliable. I have tried other free and paid apps but for me Navigate 6 beats them all.

Hope this helps.

:)

You should also have a look at CoPilot. Maps are updated quarterly. You can download as much or as little map as you need. Plenty of features and works completely off-line (except of course add-ons like traffic which requires a data connection.) They were offering a free year of traffic, but I don't know if they still are. The app works well and is easy to use.
