Help Please help me very quick!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello i just bought an other external harddisk for my flytouch 3 (this time it's one that's 200 gb and teh tablet recocnises it) so i could watch movies on it but i couldn't put files on it if they were bigger than 4 gb (and most of my movies are in HD so they are bigger than 4gb) so i converted the HDD to NTFS and i put some movies on it but my flytouch 3 doesn't recocnise the HDD anymore (i think because it's NTFS now)
what can i do?
please answer quick!!!!!!!!

You have two options I think:

1) Format the HDD to a FAT32 File System (worth a shot)

2) Update your firmware. I used Tim's 4E ROM and this recognizes everything I have thrown at it so far.

Good luck!

I use a pertition manager to format my external drives that are over 32Gb to fat32. THe ones I usually use are EASEUS Partition Master (Home Edition) and MiniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition. I don't knw about Tim4e but Tim5a does not recognize fat 32. Also if I were you I would look for a way to cut my movies to pieces or download lower quality videos? I am for the 600p screen of FT3 I cant imagine a movie being over 4GB for perfect quality. Except if ofcourse you connect your tablet to your TV to watch FullHD. Well I hope you will find a solution.

from Tims firmware info page....

- NTFS usb drives support (the rom autoloader will see them as a damaged disk, simply use the dedicated mount usb drivesGScript to mount them)

Tims5a seems to support NTFS now...

I wish I had asked before formatting mine. Too bad i was looking at a Tim4e about such info -.-

thank you very much
all this seems very difficult so the first thing i'm going to try is to convert my hd movies to an avi file with arcsoft media converter and if that doesn't work i'll try your suggestions.
thx

I use AVS Media converter for everythign and anythign and the speed and quality (for avi) is exceptional. I have been using it for PSP and cellphone and its great. I suggest the H264/AVC or if it does not work MPEG-4 (Divx,Xvid)
