Help please help me with making ringtones and notifications work on this phone

ive done google search and check every forum website i can find. i cant stand the pre built in ringtones and alarms. i tried adding my own ringtones from zedge made for this phone and put it multiple different folders on my phone and they dont show up. its driving me crazy does anyone know how to fix this? for ringtones, notification tones and alarms?

I have 3 ringtones I put on my phone. I made a ringtone folder inside my dcim folder. I put them in there. Works perfectly for me, I also have Es File Explorer installed.

I also made a Notification folder inside my dcim folder, I use that for text message ringtones.

for notifications set it up this way on your sd card but if u use zedge it should work it does for me

sdcard/media/audio/notifications/(your ringtones for notifications)
**the slash means the folder you need to create **

for the ringtones just open up the stock music player go to library then categories click on songs all your music and if you have ringtones on your sd card they should all be display scroll to the ringtones you have click and hold and select on the option "set as ringtone" i also seem a option where you can trim a song to turn into a ringtone but you better of downloading a pre made ringtone

If you're rooted you can put them in system/media/audio/ringtones so that they show up under your ring tone menu.
