Help Please Help, Need o2 3g internet settings

hello, i have just bought my samsung i5700 portal, and i cant use the internet, i have gone to settings, wireless & network settings, mobilenetworks, access point names, and the is no apn settings there,
i have searched the internet but cant find anything.
Also i have read in some posts that there is a option the toggle 3g on/off but i dont have that option.

PLEASE HELP
