Hello everyone, First I'm Bryan.. and I currently have a HTC Snap that's run by Windows.. I cannot tell you how aggravating it is to get this phone to just play music. I have a few questions about a couple of phones that Sprint has to offer and maybe someone can help point me in the right direction..

First, Can either of these phones Stream Music from internet radio stations?
Samsung Epic 4 g
HTC Evo Shift 4 g
Samsung Transform

Like I said, I currently have windows on my phone. I use TCPMP to stream on it now, and play music thats on my 8gb micro card... Do these phone allow the use of a micro SD card?

Next, Are any of these phone good with Google Voice? I have that now as well and use it for work daily.

Can I assign my own (home made) ring tones to individual contacts? They are currently MP3 format.

Can I use this phone as a internet connection for my laptop? I am currently connecting my phone to the laptop via USB cable, and use active sync with my HTC Snap right now with out any "major" issues

And finally do I have to have applications for all the things that I have now on my current phone? Or do I have to buy them to get all this to work..

Appreciate any and all help..

Bryan

Yes, pretty much every android phone can stream internet stations.
Yes, they all use SD cards
Yes, given android is google's operating system, google voice does indeed work.
Yes, free apps like ringdroid even let you cut the song too
Yes, wifi->usb tethering is legal and free. 3g/4g->usb or 3g/4g->wifi is an extra cost.

Last question you'll have to be more specific. The phone does everything I need and more with just free apps.

Thanks for the reply. I just wanted to make sure that the Android phones do the same thing as my current Windows phone, except better...

Now how would I be able to stream music from a website? I had my friend today try to do it and it didn't work. He said I needed a application. Currently with Windows 6.2, I use TCPMP..

There are streaming music apps...my vibrant came with slacker preinstalled. I heart radio is good too. Not sure what you mean by what you have now, but there is an app for pretty much everything
