I purchased an evo off ebay, it was rooted, and i didnt know what the meaned, so i got the phone, and went into settings and was gonna wipe all the guys stuff off the phone. and then i wiped everything by holding down the volume key while turning on, well i erased EVERYTHING. now when i turn it on its stuck in a bootloop and keeps saying "fresh." im pretty good with stuff like this, but as ive just converted from the "iphone side" to the Android side, i need some help getting it back to working order, what all do i need to do thx.

You probably should have read about this before buying the phone. Once its rooted, it will stay rooted. You can flash a stock RUU rom that will bring it back to stock. Check out the All Thnigs Root subforum.

In the "All Things Root" forum here there are several great guides for newbies and will guide you through it all. That whole forum was very helpful to me when I started out - hop on over there and I bet you'll find lots of answers.
