Iam freaking out right now. I've made a huge blunder probably, Iam not sure what it is.
Iam from India. My driver wanted to have some music videos on his phone and didn't know how to download them. He had been asking for long on the technique to. Since he is not aware of anything much, I offered to help him. My initial plan was to download the music videos on my pc and transfer it to his phone, through a usb cord. The PC didn't recognize his phone and it couldn't get connected, so he gave me his SD. I didn't know how to connect SD to the PC directly, so I did the most carelessly ignorantly, foolish thing ever. Since my phone connected to the PC, I removed my SD and put his SD card and transferred the video files to his phone. I returned his SD to him today. Late in the night, I realized, when I put my SD back in the phone, that two huge folders of pictures are missing.
One folder was "Camera" and the other was "Pictures", both the folders are missing and the pictures in it too. It's not that the folders remain and the pictures are gone. But the folders as well, are missing. (while other folders like Whatsapp picture folder and Screenshots are intact in my phone) Iam freaking out that, they should not have been transferred to his phone. If those folders have bymistake transferred to his SD and he transfers them onto another devices, misuses those, since they are lot of morphing crimes done these days. He has two teenage sons and they use his phone too. Apart from my pictures, I have pictures of my friends, siblings and family too. I don't want any of those with him. I didn't have the slightest clue, this could be possible, without me consciously transferring the folders to his SD.
I will take his phone tomorrow and check for any pictures from my phone, but Iam worried if there were any, that he or his sons didn't save it anywhere or misuse it.
I don't know, how they could just disappear. Iam pretty sure I put back my SD on my phone and returned to him, his. I didn't swap the SDs bymistake or anything. Please enlighten me, if you have any clue on what this situation could be. Could it have really been transferred or was it as simple as my SD got corrupt or overwritten etc ? What could have happened to those two folders ? Please enlighten me, if you have any clue about this..as I've lost my peace of mind over this. I'll be really grateful for your replies.
P.S - Mine is a Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos..
