Root Please help. Stuck in boot loop.

This is not my phone, but helping a buddy out. His Motorola droid bionic is stuck in a boot loop after attempting to flash cyanogen mod 10.1. After a successful flash, the phone would not reboot and stayed on the Motorola logo. Clock work mod is not accessible, but the backups are still there. The phone was running gingerbread eclipse. The phone is currently dead. Any help would be welcomed and thank you in advance.

Sorry guys. I should've said this a while ago, but the phone was fixed. An external battery charger was purchased and then The stock firmware was flashed through fast boot. Thank you for everyone who helped.
