Please help. Text message pictures will not download

I cannot get text message pictures to download. I have tried every sms app. Same result. My family has the Samsung s5 and are downloading pictures right beside me....... I cannot!
I called level 2 Verizon tech support and they said it is a known issue with the lg3 and have no solution other than to create a trouble ticket!
Any suggestions? Love the phone except for this. Please help

Check all the APN details are correct. If the family are on the same carrier, although they got different phones you should still be able to compare them.

if we are talking pictures in text messaging then it must be mms settings. I find that I cannot get pictures without having data actually turned on. They don't download over wifi.

I am sorry it is not an LG G3 issue. I had the same issue with GS4 on VZW as well. I had to turn WIFI off and than pictures would download fine. Now with G3 I use Evolve SMS and it download fine. I did not have to do anything with the settings at all

It may very well be an LG issue w/their messaging app,not necessarily exclusive to the G3.
I usually use the stock messaging app,but if I'm experiencing issues that I can't figure out,TEXTRA is a nice alternative.
If that works for you,then by all means start pointing fingers at LG & get a hold of their Customer Service Department & report the bug.
