Please help unbrick a nextbook

My wife deleted some files from her Nextbook 8 HD 8 G - When she tried to repair with factory ROM, she had an incomplete image file and deepbricked her tablet. We have rescued a tablet before ( Ainol Fire ) from a deepbrick, and that tablet had an easy solution ( short the NAND ). However, I have searched many forums and now some help on howto awaken her tablet. I do get the redlight, but cant get it to boot or even show up on USB. I tried the "unbrick" kit, but nothing is happening. Is there a hard reset for this tablet? Please anyone, some helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If your wife deleted system files, you'll need to flash factory firmware. A reset (soft or hard) won't fix it.

Do these files provide a full factory image or are they just updates? http://nextbookusa.com/download.php

She tried to re-install the factory ROM -- Next8HD8G_SMT_Stock_Rom_070113-signed -- and the original file was incomplete. whem she tried to reboot the tablet, there was no response. No light, no recovery, no reading SD cards. So right now we have a paperwieght. Thanks for the reply..

Was it charged fully if not plugin and charge for a day to one day and a half when the time is up try to power on while its plugged into the wall charging. If it still Dont work you need to see if a reset pin hole is on the outside of the tablet if not it is a button combo needed

Here's the whole info:

My wife deleted files from her nextbook. When she tried to reinstall the factory rom, it was incomplete. So, when it rebooted, it was completely bricked. Only the red power light LED works. We have unbricked an Ainol Fire before, so we have some experience with tablets. The Ainol Fire had a method to short the pins on the NAND and it cleared everything. Is there anyway to reset the Nextbook in the same manner? I've tried everything to help her, but nothing is working. The USB doesn't connect ( No device indicated ) to our Win7 laptop. I tried various drivers and root kits, including ADB, and other rooting/install programs. This tablet is dead. I also tried "unbrick" kits, but if it wont boot, loading the SD with something doesn't work. We tried holding the bottons for more than a minute and tried different combos. So I assume this device is locked. Is there a physical reset like the Ainol tablet? When I opened the back, there were no reset holes, easy to identify CMOS jumpers....etc. Please help with any advice. Thank you.

I downloaded the TWRP and it didn't work. What I mean is that the tablet doesn't respond at all. The only thing that wroks right now is the red power LED. I've tried turning it on while it was connect via USB to the laptop. My Windows 7 laptop does not see it when I plug it in, but the power light comes on. So, an unresponsive tablet means it is broken for good? Or is there an alternative to reseting the NAND ( such as shorting out the pins, like on the Ainol Fire tablet) ? Thank you responding to this post.

Not sure if this thread might help you. I have zero experience with Nextbooks.

This may work but op keep saying its unresponsive but wont tell how they are trying to turn on tablet . as I have been told to tell you charge tablet from the WALL OUTLET for about 6 hours. Dont look at the lights just leave plugged into a working electrical outlet for 6hours when 6hours are done try to power on device still plugged into a working wall electrical socket . to power on try the VOLUME- (DOWN) AND THE POWER BUTTON . IF THAT DONT WORK NOW TRY THE POWER BUTTON WITH IT PLUGGED IN . if all still Dont work take a break with tablet still plugged in working electrical outlet for 25-30 minutes now try to power on with the VOLUME+(UP) AND POWER BUTTON if that Dont work now try the power button . if it still Dont work post back.

Okay, nothing has worked so far. Thank you for the suggestions. Here's what we have tried:

Hard reset ( Vol + Power ) Both vol up and down
Different SD cards - 2, 8, and 16gig
Different images on SD cards for Rom flashing
Holding reset buttons for longer than 10-15 seconds
Recharging for 6 hours or more
USB connection while resetting ( not showing up on device manager at all )

I downloaded the specs for the Toshiba NAND ( FE283) that is in the Nextbook8hd8G. The specs say that pins 8 and 9 are the CE ( Pin 8) and RE ( Pin 9 ). By most of the forums I have looked at, these two are responsible for resetting the Chip. I have downloaded the Rockchip utility. But before I stuff a pins between these two pins, does anyone have any other suggestions? We don't see any visible reset pin holes or any CMOS reset. This tablet is frozen. The guide for the rockchip says that I need to have USB connected, run the program and while it is connected, short the two pins. Please, any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.
