Please help with cache issue

Hi all. First post, sorry it's a technical one.

I am playing round with my website and launching a mobile version. I have set a redirect at Electrical Exams that should detect mobile browsers and redirect them to the /mobile site I am working on. I can get it to work on everything except my phone that refuses to lose the cached file from 7 hours ago.

Short of a factory wipe, which I really don't want to do, I think I have tried everything from cache cleaners to individually going through processes and clearing data yet it still shows the same wrong page.

Can you force a full cache reset? I can't find any info that seems to think you can. Is is being cached elsewhere perhaps? Is there a way without rooting to see system files? (I have rooted phones before, this is brand new though so I want to keep it stock). I suspect I know the answer to that question though.

It is the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 sorry, should have said that.

I am tearing my hair out here, it works fine on the Nexus 7, iPad 3 and Samsung Galaxy 10.1, I just cannot for the life of me get it working on the Galaxy Note.

Any help would be really, really appreciated.

I know by downloading CWM, which requires a root, i know what you said, you can wipe the cache...

I know this really doesn't provide the answers you are looking for but it's an alternate solution :)

Cheers. If it wasn't such a new phone, I'd be rooting like crazy :) as it is, I'm not bored of this one yet so it'll be a while off yet.

It does seem a bit simple that you cannot locate a single file in a cache and delete it, I love Android but it's letting me down here a bit.
