Please Help with google android...

I just got hubby a 7" Android 2.2 Tablet PC - HD AMLogic Flash 10.1 Apad - PC-764

I charged it all night, and it reads now fully charge 100%.
I disconnected the power supply and played with it for a bit (downloading apps, netflix ect...)

i shut it off as i had other things to do and came back to it later; i cant turn it back on unless i connect the power supply on, i can disconnect it once its on and i can play with it, but i cannot turn this tablet on without the power cord.

Can anyone help me?

When you turn it on with the power cord, can you then disconnect the power cord? If so, can you check what battery is remaining? It could have lost all charge if you left it for a while (my crappy 7" tabby does that).
