Guys I really need help saving my daughter from some very self destructive behavior that she's been engaging in. She's sneaking off with much older guys and starting to drink and she's only 13. I need desperately to monitor her phone/facebook activity as a last ditch effort to know who she is really with. I've read about keylogger aps but don't know where to start. I'll pay for one but i want one that can get me her Facebook login. That's where she has been meeting these guys. I'm a single mom with nobody tech savy to talk to... please help.

Sorry to hear you are having such problems with your daughter.
I would be careful using a keylogger app. You could be opening your phone to malware.

Is there no way to take away her phone and/or computer till she straightens her act up? This is exactly what I would be doing if my 13 year old child was doing this.

She's had issues for a while and they seem to get resolved and sooner or later when her phone is returned things go back to the way they were. she also just uses her sisters/friends phone and computers... if there is any keylogger that you think would be worth a shot, let me know please. what about mobile spy software??

I'm pretty sure using a key logger to gain someone else's info is illegal.
Just give her a basic phone with no internet access.

Plus, you have to think about what your daughter will do if she finds out you are spying on her.

And if she uses her friends phone, you have no way to see what's happening.

Best bet would be to install a GPS tracking app on her phone, at least you will know where she is.

I can't think of one of the top of my head, but just search the market and you'll find one. Or you could just use Googles Latitude service.

We're very sorry about your predicament.

However - you're asking for advice for a good purpose when in fact the information you want can be seen publicly and used by criminal elements for identity theft - and I am sorry, but AndroidForums.com can have no part in that whatsoever.

I would recommend contacting Facebook, and discussing the legal implications of your daughter's behavior and their site responsibilities to protect minors from predators.

We here at the forums sympathize completely, but this is really the best that we can do.
