I installed and updated Android StudioI imported camera sample app from google into Android Studio compiled and get the ERROR

also unknown attributes:
is there something I didn't do right installing the studio
I have jdk1.8.0_20 with an environment variable set to location
all the files packages are installed by the sdk manager
I have an avd set up
