PLEASE help wont update apps.

When my inspire updates apps, it says"couldnt install on sd card" and wont update. I have restarted the phone, removed the sd card, taken the battery out. ALL my other media on my sd card are still there, videos, pics, music. I looked, my sd card still has 2.4 gigs of space. This is irratating, I get about 5 of these messages a day, from the apps that update atomatically. Can someone PLEASE suggest any ideas. This is the first time i've had problems.

Apps like barcode scanner, att maps, the guitar (solo) app, sex offender app. Ive NEVER had a problem like this. I will post more of the apps next time it shows them. Cant think of all the specfic ones right now.

The first thing that strikes me is that by default, updates never install to the SD. They’re installed to memory and then you have to move them to the SD, individually or using an app-to-SD app to do it for you.

So the quote, "couldnt install on sd card," makes no sense to me. Unless your phone behaves completely different, which is certainly possible.

You can change the default install location, even without root, but you'd know if you'd done it.
