please HELP!!!

I got the android for Christmas and I am in trouble.

Here are my issues...

i somehow placed shortcuts to the main screen for contacts that i want to remove and cant.

i can turn off an alarm set for a day without deleting the whole alarm.

i cant get the keyboard to work with a stylist...fat fingers.

Please help...and when answering questions please use dummy terms...I can admit, this phone is to much for me!!!!

Welcome to the Android Forums!

To delete a contact from your home page, long press on the contact (in other words press and hold). After a few seconds the item will highlight and you'll see the image of a trash can. Drag the item to the trashcan.

What brand/model Android device do you have? Most stylus pens aren't designed to work with the capacitive screens on newer Android phones.
