please help

Please, I need some advice here...

I'm using Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9003 for about 4 months now but when i downloaded FB Messenger this message accurs:

"The process android.process.media has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."

Then it re-boots itself, then that message appears again then, re-boots... the cycle continues. I can't access on the phone to remove my downloaded apps.
I tried turning it off, removing the battery and memory cards but nothing happens.

I would appreciate your response here.. Thanks in advance.

Hello and welcome aboard.

Here is what might help fix this issue: go into settings>"download" or "all" (depending on your device model)> scroll down to the market application and "clear data." This should fix the download problem.

"The process android.process.media has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
Unfortunately, this happens on almost all devices. I've narrowed down the caused to an installed application. Corrupt or incompatible with the device functionality. If this problem persist, you might have to uninstall and reinstall all your installed apps. Unless you are able to find the one that is causing this problen.

Also, you should check in to your device's area of support - to see if the other users of this device have any other solution for this problem.
Here is a link to your device's sub-forum: Samsung Galaxy S - Android Forums

Best of luck. :)

You might try power off the phone, pulling the battery, waiting a few minutes, reinstall and power up the phone. Sometimes this will clear the problem. I looked to see if we have a device specific forums for your S GT and did not find one. However, You might look though this list and see what you find.

If you are still in a boot loop there will be a sequence of hard buttons to push to reboot the phone. This is what you will have to do to gain access to the phone and clear up the problem.
