my samsung infuse is being stupid. it is rooted and i downloaded the app "Quickboot" i rebooted my phone and it went into a black screen and it vibrates randomly. my bottom keys will light up and i can go into recovery mode. I rebooted it from recovery mode but it did the same thing!:dontknow: this has been irritating me for 2 days now and i really need my phone back. What i need to know is 1. what is wrong with my phone and can it be fixed? 2. If it can be fixed would i lose all my data that is on my phone? 3. How do i fix it after im in recovery mode?! PLEASE help me. any help would be appreciated!! THANKS guys!

Its probably that quickboot app. Wiping data would probably fix the issue, but that might not be ideal if you dont schedule backups with titanium backup.

You can remove the application manually using adb, mounting the /data partition whilst in recovery mode and using adb commands to delete the apk of the quickboot application. Its worth a shot.

There will be a link in the sticky thread of your devices root forum to an adb guide no doubt.

Edit:

Yes, here is the forum:

http://androidforums.com/infuse-4g-all-things-root/

And there is a sticky guide at the top "All things root guide". In there is an article about adb.
