Just got a lg esteem for metro pcs for my aunt but it doesnt have service and the people at the metro pcs store couldnt help me is there anything i can do?

When you say it doesn't have service, do you mean it won't connect to the network? I'm surprised the store wouldn't help you unless it was a blacklisted phone. Did you buy it new?

Blacklist phone? No its her old phone she got a new one but she had the service turn off on this one before she gave it to me
