Root please help

ok well i got my droid friday and saturday i was rooting and going through that whole process and i accidentally clicked yes and downloaded the ota 2.1 update so still can see i have the superuser permission icon but if i flash back to stock is that going to be a problem? any input would be appreciated, thanks

For future reference, you will get WAY more responses if you use an appropriate thread title rather than just "Please help". Tons of knowledge floating around these forums, and they don't usually click on threads unless the title leads them to believe they know how to help. Just something to keep in mind.

thanks yea sorry about that I'm new to this and don't post on forums much.so I'm lookin at the sprecovery thread and one last question, if I rooted and downloaded the ota update am I still rooted? I ask because I still see the superuser permissions icon

No. If you install the OTA, you lose root.

thank you everyone i followed the thread on install sprecovery and it worked like a charm now running jrummys theme @1ghz! this is amazingly fast
