please help

I know this is probably a repeat post but got my s5 3 months ago. And as of today my battery at 5 am was 97%. As of now I'm at 32 %. After looking online for help I turned on power saver, changed location setting only to look while on wifi. And turn on screen brightness to auto. I'm not on it at all the time. Help please... I'm new to the s5 any and all help would be amazing. Forgot to also put in in CT time so only 7 hrs have passed.

I find that it is usually some apps you have on the phone that are talking to a host to sync up.

I turn off sync, data, wifi when not using the phone, makes the battery last a very long time.

The GPS? I have found that it doesn't matter if it is on or off, I just leave it ON in High Accuracy Mode. Makes it easier for the other apps to access it. Only costs me about 20 minutes worth of total battery at the end of two days.

Do you have your email set up to Notify you? That costs a lot of battery power. Turn OFF all Notifications everywhere.

Amazon Suites is horrible about using battery power, Disable that, Uninstall if possible.

Facebook, Twitter, other social apps?
Turn off all notifications, or your battery will suffer.
I don't have any social apps on my phone, I use the PC for that.

here is a link for other ideas.

Also, turn OFF all apps that you dont use... I have done that and still have quite a few notifications on, I'm a moderate to high user and can still get at least 20hrs with about 30% battery left.
