Does anyone here or somebody wanna suggest how could i avoid/surpass/evade/prevent someone from phishing over my personal info, sms.

Welcome to the forum. :)

You'll have to give us more information. What method do you think someone might be using to access your personal info? Spyware, physical access to the phone, or what?

"Phishing" has a specific meaning: deceiving someone into giving away personal information or money, e.g. by a fake bank email. I assume that isn't what you mean here.

Hi seekeer, Welcome to Android Forums! :)

Some general "best practices" would be to:

  • Keep your phone with you at all times.
  • Don't let anyone use your phone or your accounts
  • Only install apps from safe locations (Google Play, Amazon, etc.)
  • Don't click on unknown links or ads
  • Don't open unknown emails or text messages
  • Never share your password
  • Use a strong password*
  • Change your password frequently
  • Never use the same password for all your accounts

Passwords: Two common words strung together are harder to hack than character substitutes. For example "wheelmuffin" is stronger than "Pu$syCaT"

Hello sir! Thank you very much sir for lending some of your time. I think it is a .spyware. it all started when i logged my facebook account and my mobile number synced to it, on my mate's ipad. I dont have an idea how she manipulated it. Considering she had a cloud account. There it goes my problem started, come to think that i cant recieve any text messages/ calls for three (3) straight days even just a good morning message from my friends. And remembering her remote control on her t.v. when im putting my phone aside, im just wondering, why she keep that remote control always aiming at my phone. And also there is this GSIS membership of her, how could she have a cash loan allocation ranging from 70-100 thousand pesos when she still had loan payables on the government agency. I just couldnt figure it out how she managed to do such things.

What phone model do you have? Most phones don't have infrared capabilities, in which case pointing a remote at the phone is irrelevant. Indeed if it's an actual TV remote it's irrelevant anyway - those things can only send, not receive, and even if you'd put some software on an infrared-capable phone that responded to commands from a TV remote why would you keep it pointed, rather than just send an instruction and be done? So I strongly suspect that the TV remote thing is coincidence.

Spyware can't install itself. Indeed no software can install itself on android, it requires the user to install it (there are no viruses in the way there are on Windows). If someone had your gmail password they could log in to play.google.com and remotely install software on your phone, but you'd still have a notification on the phone that it was done. So in practice the only way someone could install software on your phone with no indication would be if they had physical access to the phone.

I'm not sure what you mean by your mobile number syncing to Facebook on your mate's iPad. But if you have any doubts I'd think that changing passwords (Google and Facebook) would be a good thing to do.

Good morning sir! My phone model is samsung GT-S5300, but now i am only using myphone A848i duo And sir about that remote control, shes the one holding it and on the other she is holding is her samsung gt-s5360, and also she's the one pointing so close that remote control to my phone and then back to her t.v again. And i just dont understand sir, when im making a new google account and got reset my facebook account on my samsung S5300 back then, everytime i logged out and log in again, i always end up password incorrect. How come i forgot that quick when i just newly updated it, so i give it a doubt. And sir, about that sync im talkin is, my late phone number are assoiciated with my facebook account. She's insisted/offer to log in my fb account to her apple ipad. Not knowing that time, that im logging in to her chrome browser with her gmail account signed in. If only you could see my fb account, those changes weren't made by myself. Referring to my name that got interchange and now i can't get it back to the way it was before. I thank you.

There is nothing a TV remote control could do to any of those phones. None of them have any IR capability. She's either messing with you or just doesn't realize she is doing it.

As for the the accounts, Those phones shipped with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and I don't think there's been an official update to 4.x. If I recall the Facebook app would sync your Google account back to Facebook, which might be what your seeing on your friend's iPad.

Changing your passwords is the first step. You should also turn on 2 step verification for your Google account so that anytime some one attempts to change something you'll be notified.
