Once you reset I was told to wait 10min before I try anything .

I just done the reset on it and kept trying an eventually it went through, took me a few tries but got there in the end, but other than the reset it was just a case of keep trying

Have you had a problem with disconnecting from wifi or ethernet? I purchased a Droidplayer M8 quad core last week and it disconnects the wifi or ethernet setting anywhere between 2 and 10 minutes.
Its happening to loads, and tech support are aware, but do not have a fix at the moment.

Is yours ok?

That's a WiFi issue and you need to either reset and set up your WiFi box to communicate with the android box better. This doesn't work your WiFi carrier needs to send you a bigger box or you need to buy a bigger box such as a Linksys or netgear and set up wpa2 security

I got an email from droidplayer today saying to reinstall everything basically to the previous update,wifi is staying on but having problems installing xbmc now

Ye I have that problem with either wifi or Ethernet, I reset also, had problems with xbmc, reset again to get that installed but still have issue with internet going off
