Help Please i need help

My tablet screen is black, i was watching yt on it a day ago and i think it was 20 or 14% so i charged it when i was sleeping i woke up aroun 13:00 and i was gonna ckeck the time but the screen was black when i pressed the home button i was confused so i tested charging it with my dads charger i heard the sound it does when it loads but nothing on my screen like you know when it says howmuch% the screen is just black how could it have broke over a night also my dad massaged my ipad no sound so it must be off or i disabled the sound. I really need it fixed
 
what tablet do you have? have you tried to long press the power button? this should just reboot the tablet. but it really would help to know which one you have.

Tried doing it but nothing but when i do home and power it takes screenshots do ot must be on
 
The point of the long press on the power button is to force a restart. It seems very odd if it doesn't do that, since your power button is clearly working and I can't remember when I last met an Android device where pressing and holding power doesn't force it to restart.

Of course if your tablet has a removable battery you can just pull that out to achieve the same thing, but most don't. And I'm afraid I can't see your photo (I've tried on a couple of different browsers), so don't know what the device is.

I'd try the power button thing again. It you can restart the device and you see the "splash screen" when it powers up then the display hardware is OK (i.e. it's a software problem). If it restarts but remains black throughout then it's probably hardware.

I don't know how you can tell whether it's actually rebooting, unless it makes some sound on boot up. Maybe do the screenshot thing straight after a long press on the power button (that won't work until it's booted up), or if you can monitor devices connected to your WiFi and see it drop out for however long that tablet takes to boot up?

When it worked it did a sound when it booted now it doesn't it's just black

Tried screenshooting did not work first time tried again and it did

That sounds like it might be rebooting but the display not coming on.

If so it suggests something in the display hardware has failed (may be as simple as a connection, or may be something major). But if it is a hardware fault there's nothing you can do apart from repair or replace.

I hope I'm wrong, but that's the best guess I have with limited information.

But how did it do that randomly if i didn't Touch it

I can hear the volume when i do it lower and higher but screen still black

If you follow that argument nobody's phone would ever fail unless they dropped it. Memory cells can fail (that might be fixed by reflashing the device). Poor connections or solder joints can work for a long time then give out. There might have been thermal factors, a problem with the power supply, since I don't know its history there might have been damage earlier that's just caught up with you (corrosion can do that). If it is a hardware fault - and diagnosing at a distance isn't completely reliable - there's no way of knowing the cause without opening it up, perhaps not even then.

Software stuff you can do a lot with yourself, but as I say if it was software I'd expect the splash screen to show on boot (because it's not running Android at that point, so a problem with the android software wouldn't stop that). You could try booting into recovery mode (it will require pressing some buttons when rebooting - which ones depends on the device) but if the screen remains dark that won't help you. There are ways of clearing the system cache or doing a factory reset using a computer, but if those would help your screen would work when you weren't running android. Or you could try reflashing the software completely: you'll need a computer, you will need to know the full model number, then you can download the firmware from sammobile.com (there should be instructions for how to flash it there too). If it's software of any sort that should fix it, if it's hardware that will make no difference.
 
I think Hadron is correct. I think the LCD Connector may have been dislodged and it needs to be reconnected. This was an issue w/that tablet.

I had a different issue and had to open the tablet and unplug and reconnect the battery "cable".

Now opening that tablet requires some careful handling but it can be opened. (Search YouTube for suggestions).
