Please please please help!

I just got an android and love it but I really dont like the theme of the built in messaging system I was wondering if theres a way you can set a new theme for messaging????

You need to get a new app for messaging and stop using the stock one if you want themes. Handcent and Go SMS Pro are the popular alternatives, and both have a lot of themes.

I agree with ChanChan.. a message app such as suggested will be your ticket for different themes for your messages. I also would like to extend a welcome to Android Forums. If you want to learn more about your phone you should check into your phone's home forum. Have fun and thanks for joining.
