Root Please recommend a good ROM with Sense

Hi,

I have recently rooted my Desire & installed Cyanogenmod 7.1
A really good ROM but missing HTC sense.
Can anyone recommend a good alternative that comes with sense. My main concern is battery life time, stability & space.
Alternatively, would I be better going back to the stock ROM with gingerbread which I got from the HTC developer website? I have been told by some this is the best for battery life.
Thanks

If it's just the Sense UI you're missing, I've been quite happy with CM7 and NT Sense, Fancy Widget (for the home page clock / weather widget), and HTC wallpaper (both live or static available free). So I've got the benefits of CM7 and with the Sense look / feel I like :)

Hi, thanks for your recommendations.
Having a few hardware problems since I posted this but once back up and running will give these ROMS a try.
cashmere_cat, sounds good, 40 hrs! I am a heavy internet user, email, facebook, twitter & the occasional WebPages most days. Do you get that kind of battery life with this kind of use?
Evil Genius, how do you find battery life on yours with this ROM?
Rushey, NT sense & fancy widget? Are these on the market? Of now do you have a download link for them?

Thanks mate, just rooted/s-offed/CM7'd good to know that I wont have to reflash anything if I ever get a hankering for Sense :P

I use Insertcoin as my rom. Before this I used Gingervillain, very good rom but i missed some of the Sense elements.

Insertcoin has A2SD and Sense 2.1 with 3.0 lockscreens and weather looks.

Battery not really any better than the stock OS but that doesnt bother me too much.

Teppic's Gingerbread Sense rom was perfect. Stripped of a load of bloatware, stable and fast. Also supports A2SD+ for bags of room for your apps.

with regards to the battery life, RCMix S v2.0 is not that much different from standard Sense which means that i get about a day before having to recharge.

battery life was never an issue for me, internal storage was the reason i rooted.

I highly recommend a couple of leedroids sense based roms. His froyo build for me has the best battery life, runs very well and is pretty much bug free:

Leedroid V2.5 Final
[ROM] LeeDrOiD V2.5.0 FINAL | 28th May l Official | Sense/No Sense l FAST l STABLE - xda-developers

But if you want GB then his DHD port which Ive been running the last few months is really smooth, has good battery life and some lovely extras like the drop down quick settings menu from the notification bar:

Leedroid HD V3.33 R5
[ROM] LeeDrOiD HD V3.3.3-Port-R5 |11th August| Ginger Sense 2.1 | FAST | STABLE | WWE - xda-developers

Hi Thanks again for more great info,

Allsop I have been told about LeeDriod before. Another possibilty. Does this include all the sense app, facebook, twitter, etc?

Evil Genius. Thanks. The battery life does concern me most. With the stock gingerbread from HTC I was getting max three days & min 1.5 depending on usage.
With Cyanogenmod its more like just 24 hours even with little use.

InsertCoin I have not heard of.

Thinking along the lines of Teppic74's ROM at the moment, unless LeeDroid is better?
