PLEASE SOME ONE HELP ME

My kyocera echo is a great phone but recently ive been having some issues. I had an echo and when i updated the firmware the kyocera company provides to the phones. This caused my phone to become hard bricked and in a never ending bootloop. (im not the only one with this issue, google "kyocera echo update bricked my phone" tons of echo users had this issue)...Anyway i took it in and like others that ive read about with this issue were forced to pay insurance deductable. Fortunately the people in the back were stupid and when taking my phone apart messed up and had to provide me with a new phone. Unfortunately this occurrence of getting a replacement phone happened two weeks ago. Today in class my phone died and when i got back home and charged it and turned it one. The phone was in a bootloop AGAIN!!! So from my understanding they gave me a crap refrebished phone. Ive hardly doneanything to the phone, and unstalled like 3 apps, so i know its not me. I will try to struggle to get a new one, sadly im sure they'll try to make me pay for it. ALTHOUGH I JUST RECIEVED THE PHONE 2 WEEKS AGO!!!

Anyway im afraid to tell my mom, because she may feel like im causing the issues. But im not:( Im a very techno savvy person so i understand technology and firmware and ect.
SO PLEASE! Can someone tell me how to mainly reset my phone, (please dont say volume up and power button. That doesnt work ive tried it with previous phone)
Maybe theres a program??? ANYTHING please someone help... i dont wanna disappoint mom, she'll feel like im the cause of the issue....And i know im not:(
If you do have a prgram please step by step for me.

THANKS FOR THOSE WHO HELP :))

1. Kyocera phones R notorious for not rooting, which limits much of the help we can give you.

2. Boot-looping is different from a hard brick, boot-looping is normally fixable.

3. Please find the Andriod Forums Kyocera Echo forum as they can give you detailed info I have no experience in.

For the record, our Kyocera Echo sub-forum has been moved to the Archived Phones section, and no one has posted there in almost a year. Since it's not likely to get seen there, that's why I moved this thread here.

And thanks for your input.

Makes sense.

Hopefully someone else can help, my Kyocera knowledge base is quite small.

You might want to get into contact with the manufacturer since Volume Up/Down plus the power button doesn't get you into Recovery Mode, because every Android has a Recovery Mode you just need to figure out how to get into it. I am saying this because you really need to get into it so you can factory reset your device, which will probably solve this boot loop error.

call the carrier.. tell them what happened.. and that you want to try to factory reset it, before you take it in for warranty (does it still have warranty?)
