Help Please, someone test this for me...

• touch the "Apps" icon to open the apps list.
• touch the "Search" icon (generic Android search, bottom right corner).

What happens?

I get a "force close" error message "Sorry. This application Homescreen (process com.motorola.home) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."


I suspect it is an application I am running, and here is why: although I have this phone for less then a week, my previous phone (Atrix 4G) had the exact same problem..

Can someone please verify that pressing search in the apps screen does not crash..

force closes, then I had to reset the home page since I have two on my phone

You need to update to the latest version of the software for your device. Go to menu-settings-about phone-system updates. Download and install the update and it will be fixed.

It says my phone is up to date.. 2.3.5 (its a XT910 te GSM version) but others with the Verizon version report the same problem..

This has been answered a whole bunch of times LOLOLOL!

Uninstall the google search update from the market. It will fix the force closes.

Not really sure what it breaks when it updates, but something doesn't play nice with the blur app drawer....
