Help Please tell new I'm doing something wrong with this battery!

Is your mobile network signal dropping out or being turned off? Do you consistently have a good signal? If not, that's likely the cause.

As Rolo pointed out, you have large gaps in your Mobile Network Signal in that screenshot. It's worth repeating his question.

Do you consistently have a good signal? Or are you turning your radio off during these periods?

If you don't get a good signal then the radio will be constantly searching in vain for a signal, which will seriously drain your battery. That is why the question is pertinent to your problem.

I only turned off mobile data in that period if time so what you describe could very well be the problem. Is there any way to find out for sure?

What does it matter? My battery still shouldn't be depleting as fast as it is.
Ummm.. Because your screen is a huge drain on battery, and if it's been in your pocket it shouldn't account for that much battery drain.

I have no battery issues. I dont kill tasks and i dont turn off data. This is with listening to music; wifi and gps is on:

This tells me either you have a bad battery or your setup is messed up.

For now, ill let this one drain out. I just realized that I probably made a huge mistake not letting the battery drain out when I first got it. I sure hope it isn't too late.
You don't have to condition LiIon batteries; they don't have a memory. You clear your battery stats at full charge and then drain it completely and charge it again, non-stop to calibrate the battery %/ETA. I'm wondering if yours is way off.

True in one sense, but they actually do recommend it for battery calibration purposes. This paragraph from the article makes both your point and mine:
The shorter the discharge (low DoD), the longer the battery will last. If at all possible, avoid full discharges and charge the battery more often between uses. Partial discharge on Li-ion is fine; there is no memory and the battery does not need periodic full discharge cycles to prolong life, other than to calibrate the fuel gauge on a smart battery once in a while.
Android uses a full discharge to calibrate, but it should only be done once in a very blue moon or after batterystats.bin has been deleted. Beyond that, you are 100% correct--absolutely avoid a full discharge.

It's like carpet. Dragging your feet on it once or twice won't ruin it but doing it regularly will.

Fully charging LiIon batteries reduces longevity as well (for the same reason a full discharge adds wear--it isn't the discharge that wears it, it's the recharge):
Li-ion does not need to be fully charged, as is the case with lead acid, nor is it desirable to do so. In fact, it is better not to fully charge, because high voltages stresses the battery. Choosing a lower voltage threshold, or eliminating the saturation charge altogether, prolongs battery life but this reduces the runtime. Since the consumer market promotes maximum runtime, these chargers go for maximum capacity rather than extended service life.

This was the reason for my statement.....his graph shows the screen on a lot yet he says he was hardly using the phone. The screen is BY FAR the biggest user of power so yes it DOES MATTER whether your screen was on or not! Could it be staying on in his pocket rubbing around?

I also agree that something is weird with his mobile signal graph although when I just looked at my graph I only have one tiny blip of green on my Mobile Network line (the rest is black) and I've been in good service territory all morning. Maybe I misunderstand what that graph is showing.

Always a result of the user? Not in my case dude. This is all on Samsung. Not me. I shouldn't have to charge my phone at 2pm. If this is battery problem is because of my light usage, then this battery just sucks.

I think its kind of dumb to have to tweak a battery just so it could give you a good days charge. I didn't pay hundreds of dollars to have to "tweak" something just so it could work the way it's supposed to.

If I do go back to my iPhone, I will enjoy it. Just like I have the past 4 years hahaha

And again, you are completely discounting the fact that lots of people are telling you that there is NOT a problem with Samsung or the phones in general. So YOU have a specific problem it seems - either with your setup, your cell coverage area, or you got a bad battery. People have offered solutions or ways to at least check what might be wrong, but I know it is easier to not listen to those and just rant at Samsung since we all know that everything in this world is in some way inferior to the mighty Apple iPhone which is perfect.
