Root Pls help! Can't get Flash to work.

I'm out of ideas, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I tried the flash101.apk and installed it using rootexployer. Changed the permissions to match all the other apps. No joy.

Tried the flashlite install from (barely)Working Flash lite on Nook Color Rooted - xda-developers

Copied the lib files into system/lib....installed the .apk file in system/apps and made sure the permissions matched....no joy.

What am I doing wrong?

Isn't flash101.apk the full version of Adobe Flash 10.1?

The link you provided on XDA was talking about flash lite... and not the full blown version of flash. Flash 10.1 will only work on Android 2.2 (FroYo)...

I know they are different. I tried them both though, as they are supposed to work on the nook color.

But I just can't seem to get either one to work.

I just need to get flash working, recalibrate the screen, and figure out why it's freezing coming out of suspend. Then it'll be perfect.

I'm pretty sure you need android 2.2 to make 10.1 flash work. The nook runs 2.1 android. Are you using nookie froyo?

Well that would explain everything right there. I'm so new at this, I didn't think the check the versions.
