Help Pls help! Contacts to view

Hey everyone. I don't seem to be able to only display my phone contacts. I uncheck the sim contacts and all others etc and then press the home button or back button to which it only displays the phone contacts. The minute i press something else and go back to contacts, all contacts are displayed again so i have 2 for each person, phone and sim! Pls help its driving me mad. My friend has an SGS2 and after the update hers is also doing the same. I presume this needs a software update to be released to fix? or has anyone found anything else. Help would be much appreciated, as i love my new phone

if there is a bug and its annoying you, you could try a third party contacts manager in the interim. Something like Go Contacts.

Delete the stuff from the sim card, of course after making a backup on a computer or cloud.

Thanks guys i'll give Go Contacts a try. If i delete my no's off my sim and have saved them to Gmail, if i need to access them again how would i get them off gmail as i can never seem to find them in there?

whenever you sign into an android phone, it will download the gmail contacts to the device.

You can find them in google contacts on a computer. They can be exported as csv format or whatever. They will be there. Just make sure they are first
