Hello everyone i'm new here
I have a chinese android phone of spreadtrum and its model is yuangpeng
Its the clone of samsung galaxy s3
I am unable to flash clockworkmod recovery
i really need it because i need to install a custom ROM
i tried many ways such as using rom manager,Terminal emulator,and other things too but still i'm unable to flash it
Plz plz plz plz help me!

Welcome, and sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

The Chinese GS3 is NOT the same as a GS3. You can't just start flashing things and hope it works. They're not compatible. You're likely to brick your phone. You have to find a build specifically for whatever "phone" you have. This is why we don't recommend Chinese phones.

Generally you can't do stuff like that without rooting the phone, and root methods are different for different phones (though some Chinese clone phones are already rooted).

But even if you manage that, it's very important to understand that ROMs and recoveries also have to be built for the specific phone. So if you managed to install a version of ClockworkMod intended for a different phone (including one intended for the S3) you'd at best no longer have a recovery at all, at worst your phone would be completely unusable. And if you find a recovery for your phone but use it to install a ROM that's built for a different phone you will also find that the phone no longer works. I know I'm repeating ExtremeNerd, but it's very important that you understand this, because you can destroy your phone trying if not.

Now you say you need to install a custom ROM. Does this mean that you know of a particular custom ROM for this phone? If so, ask the people who have produced it how they installed it. But if it's not a ROM for this phone, you can't install it.
