Pocket burning dying down?

The first couple days I had the Razr, it got pretty toasty. Lately, though, I haven't been feeling it get as hot. My radio usage is pretty much the same, and I'm still playing with it like crazy. Just wondering if anyone else noticed the heat issue settling down after a few days.

The issue is due to the heat piping from the display. Since in your pocket, instant warmer ;) At least the Rezound pipes it out (good). The Rezound seems to bottle it all in (bad).

I would say the battery is getting broken in and becoming calibrated.

My 1st Razr didn't even hardly get warm

The one I have now would get a pretty toasty the 1st couple of days I had it...Same as you its starting to go away at the moment.

Not what I'm talking about. The phone seems to be actually producing less heat overall under the same conditions. sean76 is seeing the same thing.

tough to tell. last week here in NYC it was pretty warm and i would notice it. now it's cold as hell. for all i know, the phone may be the same temperature, but it just doesn't *feel* as warm in the cold weather. (although, i never thought my phone was getting as warm as others on here were reporting anyway.)

p.s. since sean mentioned it, i'll just add to it: my battery is definitely getting broken in and calibrated a little bit too. not sure if that's related or not to the temp issue.

Is it getting better.... or are you guys just getting used to it?? Made you think, huh? :) ;)

I got a Razr today from BB, since they did not have the Rezound and I want to try both anyway. This means you can not call me a troll :)

Too legit to quit! Too legit to quit!

Like the 4G action. I will push the Razr to Spaceballs ludicrous, Spinal Tap 11 speed. I will push it to the brink and make a Marine out of it, or a whiney civilian backing its bag home :)

Uh, no. You are in danger of, or should I say on The Verge of, sniping. It actually is getting better. I follow the same routine each day, and right now I have a cooler phone and 10% more battery than I did early this week and at 2 hours later in the day.

Trust me, there is no way to get used to how hot the phone was. It was initially uncomfortable, now it isn't hot at all.

Edited for clarity and correctness.

making me think in the middle of a friday afternoon? not cool ;)

nah, it's definitely getting better - it's noticeable. for instance, the first few days with the phone, i'd be down to 80% battery life by the time i got my office in the morning. now, it just drops to 90%. my mid-day charge is now later in the afternoon than it was at first. battery life hasn't doubled or anything crazy like that, but i'm definitely getting a few more hours out of it after the first week.
