POF issue?

I have been using POF for over a month now, and I have never logged out of it. Yesterday, I went to check messages and it had logged me out, saying my session had expired. Put in my password, and it wouldn't log me in after several attempts. It would not recognize my email address either when I requested to change my password.

I ended up creating a new profile, and went fishing. It would not let me send messages. I got an error window stating that I needed to check my data usage or my Wifi connectivity. I use POF quite a bit, so it eats up alot of data, although I have unlimited data on my carrier's plan, so I don't think that is the issue. I am able to use other apps that require internet access, so the Wifi message does not seem to apply. I did not have Wifi turned on, if it matters.

Here's the strange thing: I went back into POF later on in the day to see if the two errors had been fixed under my new profile, and it would not recognize my password and email address again!

I feared that my phone had gotten hacked, so I called my carrier up to see if any suspicious activity had been detected, and none was found.

Any ideas?

1. What app is POF? Would you mind putting the link to its Google Play page in a post?
2. Have you emailed the Dev to see if the problem was on their end?

Don't think your account was hacked. You may have been "banned". It happens if you have a disagreement with one of the snot nosed girls on that site. They "report" you to the POF gestapo and when you try to log in your account is simply not there. Of course there is a way around it...
