Point of no return?

Hey everyone, got my Droid X2, so I no longer need my original X, so it's currently on craigslist, but I want to do some sandboxing with it before I sell it, specifically put ICS on it with the Cyanogenmod, but if I root it, rom it and such.....will I be able to go back to factory unrooted 2.3.3? I am not new to rooting...but I have never dealt with roms.

Sure you can. That's what sbf files are made for.

If you have to sbf its actually not that hard. Ive had to sbf a couple of times before but by the beginning of the 2nd hour my phone is rooted and rommed and im loading apps.

sbf will flash you phone back to out of the box settings, as long as you follow directions
