Pokemon tower defense

some of you may know the hit game from newgrounds, being as popular as it is on there, most will. but did you know you can play natively? sam&dan of samdangames.blogspot.com have an apk for download of their beloved game.

Just like the tittle implies PTD is a pokemon themed tower defense game, complete with achievements, challenges, story-mode and many other features you would expect and want with such a cool and odd combination of video game culture.

PTD updates regularly on the weekends, every weekend. count on it being out on sundays but saturday and monday releases have happened.

enjoy the game, and be wary of trading with people online, there are ways to dupe and out right create any pokemon coded into the game ;)

any and all questions can be posted here, sent to me via PM or you can ask sam&dan themselves. on the blog, via comment, or the old fashioned way... through gmail.

it was in the market , then got removed twice ... I still have the latest version from the market
guess I'm gonna download this now

*sigh* It was removed because it is illegal. Simple as that. The rights to Pokemon are owned by a Nintendo subsidiary and if you want to publish a game based on their IP, you have to get a license from them. I'm all for taking an established concept and improving on it, but taking the name and content goes too far.

Why not spend the time you waste re-uploading the app over and over again and instead create your own game?

so..um, not to be a downer or an asshole here, but how far is your own head up your ass? I can't quite tell if your handicapped, dumb, or just have some self entitlement issues. anyways lets clear something up about copy right, the app market, google, flash games, intellectual property, and International legal violations. how they all interact with each other, specifically on this particular case of PTD, and watch carefully. I will be using some unorthodox examples and if you need me to slow down or add some show and tell, just ask.

Now, first and foremost. I am no man of the law, but i do take great pride in knowing what i do know and using it in new and unique ways, correctly.
so with out further ado.

Copy Right; when someone or something wishes to be the sole propraiter of an idea, item or property. they fill out a request for the copy right and may also take out a patent on it as well. This means that they themselves are responsible for it's maintenance, advertising, and well being. How they go about it is entirely up to them, and in extreme cases, government offices may intervene.

The app market; I don't think i need to say much here, but i will explain some of the history of the game with the app market. You are correct, the game was put up twice and removed twice, though i believe the creators of PTD have every right to create and distribute what they have made.

...too be continued, this is getting quite long winded and i have life to attend to.

Well... I'll just leave it to the other readers to make up their own mind about the issue and the way it is presented here. Goodbye.

Syi, you're an idiot. If you're going to personally attack someone please have actual knowledge and finish your damned post. All you did was google copyright then abruptly ended your post proving nothing. Also: lol at playing th "I have a real life" card. Useless.

Can anyone help? The. apk file is downloading but it says it's unsupported? And the download is downloading only 23 kb? What's going on? I'm on an Atrix 4g by the way.
